Why do people like travelling?

Almost everyone wants to go somewhere they haven't been before. Whether it's a city, continent, country, or even restaurant.

But why do people like travelling?

1. 

It gives people a break. When you are on vacation, your mind is not exactly on work all the time, it is more on wherever you are. For example, if you were in Greece, you probably wouldn't be thinking, oh no, in a week, I'll have to go back to work!

You would probably just be excited to do what you have to do that day.

2. 

You experience other cultures. 

Let's say you are still in Greece. You might know that Greece has a fascinating culture and history. Athens, probably the most historical place in Greece is an amazing place to visit, and if you go there, you'll learn so much about the amazing history from thousands of years ago.

3. 

You see amazing things. Again, say you are in Greece. Some of the most beautiful places in the world are in Greece. You are on the island of Santorini watching the famous sunset. This is a wonderful thing to do, and you'll be experiencing something magical. 

Many people travel just to see the amazing things that await them in that place.
